Description

Elektrisk sterkstrømkabel.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår fluidum-kjølede elektriske kabler.
Slike kabler omfatter i alminnelighet en sentral hul ledende kjerne og en ytre rørformet del som omgir kjernen. Fluidum passerer gjennom rommet inne i den hule kjerne og også mellom den ytre del og kjernen. Slike kabler blir ofte brukt for strøm-tilførsel til elektriske ovner og må kunne føre store strømstyrker. Under bruk av slike kabler er det oppstått vanskeligheter ved at den indre overflate av den rørfor-mete del slites av den ytre overflate av kjernen. Denne slitasje skyldes i alminnelighet vibrering av kabelen under bruk, spesielt når frekvensen for den strøm kabelen fører er lav, f. eks. 25 per/sek.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse går ut på en fluidumkjølet kabel som omfatter en hul kjerne som består av flere lag som hvert består av flere nakne ledere. En ytre bøye-lig kappe omgir kjernen, og den indre overflate av kappen er skilt fra kjernen ved hjelp av en flerhet elastiske deler avvekslende med nakne ledere i det ytre lag av kjernen og slått sammen med disse. De elastiske deler virker som dempere, og de-res tversnitt er formet slik at det blir til-strekkelig mellomrom mellom kjernen og kappen til å hindre gnissing og til å tillate kjølemidlet å strømme mellom kjernen og kappen. Det har vist seg at denne kon-struksjon i høy grad fjerner de skadelige virkninger som skyldes bevegelser mellom elementene i kabelen. I en foretrukket ut-førelsesform av foreliggende oppfinnelse er de elastiske deler ledere, som er dekket med elastisk material og som er slått sammen med de nakne ledere i kjernen.
Oppfinnelsen skal nå beskrives under
henvisning til vedføyede tegninger.
Fig. 1 og 2 viser et lengdesnitt, henhv. et sideriss av en fluidum-kabel hvor oppfinnelsen er bragt til utførelse. Fig. 3 viser et delsnitt etter linjen 3—3
i fig. 2.
På tegningen er det vist et parti av en kabel som har en hul ledende kjerne 1 som omfatter flere nakne ledere 2 som er slått sammen, en skruefjær 3 og en bøyelig flat del 4, begge inne i kjernen, en ytre bøyelig, væsketett metall-kappe 5, indre kanaler 6, 7 og ytre kanaler 8 hvor kjøle væsken kan flyte. Et slutt-stykke 10 kan være festet til enden av kabelen. En kabel av denne type er beskrevet i det kanadiske patent nr. 552 769.
Avvekslende med de nakne ledere 2 og slik at de er forankret til disse og i avstand fra hverandre, ligger deler 9 som består av ledere i likhet med lederne 2, men dekket med et slitesterkt elastisk material med lav friksjonskoeffisient, f. eks. polyetylen eller neopren og lagt slik at de holder den ytre kappe 5 i en viss avstand fra lederne 2. De-lene 9 kunne like godt bestå av bare elastisk material.
Da den indre overflate av kappen 5 og den ytre overflate av kjernen 1 er skilt ved hjelp av de dekkede ledere 9, vil muligheten være nedsatt for at det skal oppstå slitasje ved bevegelse eller vibrering i kabelen. Da den ytre kappe 5 og kjernen 1 i alminnelighet vibrerer i forskjellig grad, vil vibrerin-gen av den ytre kappe 5 bli så dempet at
enhver slitasje på grunn av dette forhold
vil bli nedsatt. Da lederne 9 er dekket med
et elastisk material vil disse ledere danne
puter ved utvidelse og sammentrekking av
kabelen.

Claims (4)

1. Elektrisk sterkstrømkabel som omfatter en ytre bøyelig kappe, en hul kjerne
som er omgitt av og skilt fra kappen, og omfatter flere ledere, og er innrettet til å kjøles ved hjelp av en strøm av kjølemiddel gjennom minst en del av det rom som om-gis av kjernen og gjennom rommet mellom kjernen og kappen, karakterisert v e d at det er anordnet flere elastiske deler som strekker seg i kabelens lengderetning og er slått sammen med noen av lederne i det ytre lag av kjernen og er innrettet til å ligge mot den indre overflate av kappen for å skille kjernen fra kappen slik at det dannes kanaler for føring av kjølemiddel mellom kjernen og kappen.
2. Kabel som angitt i påstand 1, karakterisert ved at den ytre kappe er væsketett.
3. Kabel som angitt i påstand 1 og 2, karakterisert ved at de elastiske deler består av ledere som er omgitt av elastisk material.
4. Kabel som angitt i påstand 1—3, karakterisert ved at de elastiske deler som har i det vesentlige sirkelformet tverrsnitt, har større diameter enn lederne i det ytre lag av kjernen.
