The present invention relates to a method for synchronizing in a PAL color television system with a vertical synchronizing signal and color synchronizing pulses which consist of several color carrier frequency oscillations and which are extinguished during the duration of the vertical synchronizing signals. In connection with the PAL color television system, it has been proposed to carry out the synchronization of the sequential switch with a color sync pulse which changes in phase from line to line (Belgian patent 656 631). This color synchronization pulse can be rectified in a synchronous demodulator to, together with the rectifier product consisting of pulses alternating from line to line with regard to polarity, impose the correct switching phase on the switch. In connection with color television systems, it is known, as long as the vertical sync signal, which

TjeTt!ir~of the^Toraniling drabant pulse, ~vwtilcaIsyiaTSrapul8en"~6g the lagging drabant pulse, means, to extinguish the color synchro signal, to extinguish the synchronous pulse (the preceding and lagging drabant pulses are the short pulses that in time lie before and after the long vertical synchronous pulses that are transmitted under the vertical-off* hatch (German: Vertikalaustastlucke) in order to achieve the correct line jump see VT and N, fig. 1), so that these pulses are not radiated at this time and the receiver's vertical synchronization cannot affect i either. ;(farve8close hatch) This means that the direct voltage obtained by rectification of the color synchronous pulse at the end of the color blanking week strives towards a limit value; in the discriminator, for example, it would decrease towards zero. At the beginning of the first color synchronous pulse after the color blanking week, the same voltage in the reverse direction will again rise towards the value corresponding to the operating condition This voltage, which changes only slightly, has a negligible effect on the reference carrier oscillation llator frequency. It is with the NTSC system, where it produces color tone changes, not disturbing, and with the PAL system, where it only causes saturation changes, it would still be disturbing, if not for the situation at the beginning of the shutter ( - the shutter and at the end of the shutter for on successive sub-frames were not different. Namely, if the same blanking pulse was used to achieve the color blanking week, as used for extinguishing NTSC "brush", two and two sub-frames always end with positive I-phase and two further sub-frames with negative I-phase. In addition, the two sub-picture pairs start according to the length of the extinguishing pulse with a positive and negative I-phase respectively. This means that the switch-on or switch-off process is different for two out of four sub-pictures. This has a disruptive effect during the upper part of the picture in the form of a flicker with a low frequency, for example 12.5 Hz. The purpose of the invention is to eliminate this disadvantage. ji When using color synchronous pulses which sometimes contain another line r a phase-switched component, the last color synchronizing pulse that is transmitted before the vertical synchronizing signal begins has, for subsequent partial images, the same phase position, and/;; or the first color synchronizing pulse transmitted after the end of the vertical synchronizing pulse has an equal phase position for subsequent partial images. In a preferred embodiment, the color blackout week from partial image to partial image is mutually offset by half a line duration I or a multiple thereof in relation to the color blackout week. ;Farve s ynTuronpulsene- end~ér~" all s å al 1 tT3 f br they are extinguished, with a completely determined phase, and they begin after extinguishing in all partial images again with likewise a completely determined phase which is either equal to the one at the beginning of the blackout or vice versa. With such a pulse kernel, the disturbance in all four sub-pictures will be the same as in the NTSC or PAL system with non-alternating color synchronous pulses. There is no disturbing effect in addition to that. In a further embodiment, the alternerixi- gene for the color synchronizing pulses shortly before the beginning of the blackout shutter, so that there are also some pulses without phase switching, i.e. as in the NTSC system. After the blackout, noex "bur8te" starts again with a constant phase and only then does alpha ringing begin, again. This has no disturbing side effect, as only part of the color synchronous pulses are needed to impose the correct phase. ;The invention shall be described with reference to what is shown in the drawing e design example, on which fig. 1 shows the pulse diagram for a television signal with image content, line pulses, leading edge pulses VT, vertical pulses V and trailing edge pulses N. The color sync pulses alternating from line to line are indicated by arrows F, the direction of which indicates the phase position in the area of the vertical sync signal (VT , V and N) the signal contains no color synchronous pulses. The switching off of the color synchronizing pulse F is carried out with a constant length, but with a varying starting point, specifically so that the last color synchronizing pulse in all rasters always has the same phase. Fig. 2 shows, in the same phase position, a square bulb which serves to control the phase change. The thick lines indicate the limits within which the color blanking week lies. Fig. 3 shows the associated extinguishing pulses, the length of which is the same for all partial images. The beginning of each of these pulses is shifted by half a line duration from the first to the third partial image. The beginning of the fourth partial image is offset 3/2 lines in relation to the first partial image in the opposite direction to the previous offset. The dotted line drawn on fig. 3 indicates the color blanking week that is usually present in the NTSC system.
