De uitvinding heeft betrekking op een combinatie van een voor plaatsing op (over) de rand van een ontdekseld verfblik bestemd afdruip/ af str ij k-hulpstuk en een uit een kwastlichaam en een daarop aansluitende steel bestaande verfkwast, welk hulpstuk een bovenranddeel heeft met een daarop aansluitende, naar beneden en (radiaal) naar binnen reikende, in een een opening begrenzende afstrijkrand eindigende binnencmtrekswand, waarbij in het bovenranddeel tenminste een ligplaats is gevormd voor het opleggen van (de steel van) de verfkwast.The invention relates to a combination of a dripping / stripping attachment intended for placement on (over) the edge of a covered paint can and a paint brush consisting of a brush body and a connecting handle, which attachment has a top edge part with a adjoining, downward and (radial) inwardly extending, inner finishing wall ending in an opening bounding edge delimiting an opening, wherein in the upper edge part at least a recess is formed for laying on (the handle of) the paint brush.

Bij deze combinatie ligt de verfkwast met zijn steel betrekkelijk losjes in de ligplaats in de bovenrand van het hulpstuk, terwijl het vrije einde van het kwastlichaam rust op een vanaf de binnenwand van het hulpstuk naar binnen uitstekend vlak ringvormig wanddeel rond een centrale opening van het hulpstuk. De oplegging van de verfkwast op het hulpstuk in de niet-gebru iksstand is aldus betrekkelijk labiel en noopt de gebruiker tot behoedzaam manoeuvreren bij het hanteren van het verfblik met de daarop liggende kwast. Reeds bij een lichte aanraking met in de onmiddellijke omgeving aanwezige wanden of voorwerpen wordt de kwast gemakkelijk uit zijn ligplaats gelicht en kan het kwastlichaam los van zijn ringvormige cplegvlak geraken.
