Abstract

The invention relates to a can lid used for drinks cans provided with a lip which is attached to the lid. Exerting an upwardly directed force on the lip results in the drinking hole being opened and in the possibility of using the drink from the can. In order to be able to close the opened can again, the can lid is provided with a sealing lip which at its attachment point on the lid can be made to rotate over the opened drinking hole and is held in place by rotating the lip under a raised flange which is attached to the side of the drinking hole.

Daartoe voorziet de uitvinding erin, door het deksel van het huidige blikje te voorzien van een dicht lipje (zonder stansgat) welke op dezelfde gebruikelijke wijze is bevestigd aan het deksel. Het dichte lipje, dat groter is dan het huidige lipje om zodoende het gehele drinkgat te kunnen bedekken, vervangt het huidige lipje (zie tekening 1) dat voor de opening van het drinkgat gebruikt wordt. Het dichte lipje wordt over het immiddels geopende drinkgat gedraaid, daarbij roterend aan de bevestiging aan het deksel (zie tekening 2). Een opstaand randje (zie tekening 3) aangebracht aan een gedeelte van de rand van het drinkgat zorgt ervoor dat het dichte lipje op het drinkgat geduwd en gefixeerd wordt en zodoende voor een goede afsluiting zorgt (zie tekening 4) . Om een volledige afsluiting van het drinkgat te garanderen wordt het drinkgat iets verder van het bevestigingspunt van het lipje geplaatst dan dat bij het huidige model blikdeksel het geval is. Om ervoor te zorgen dat het lipje door uitoefening van opwaartse kracht het dichte drinkgat nog kan openen, wordt de voorzijde van het lipje verlengd (zie tekening 5) . De uitvinding maakt zodoende deel uit van het deksel van het blikje en vormt geen los accessoir dat op het deksel bevestigd moet worden om het drinkgat af te sluiten.The object of the invention is in a simple manner to add a new possibility to the current can lids by making them resealable.
