Abstract

The metal drink can has a normal ring pull opening, in which upwards pressure on the ring breaks a weakened panel out of the lid. The ring pull is fixed to the lid by a rivet. The novel feature of the present can is that a secondary cap is fitted diametrically opposite the opening. When the ring pull is rotated horizontally through 180 deg., the secondary cap can be pressed down into the aperture left in the lid.

De uitvinding heeft betrekking op drankenblikjes zoals reeds jaar en dag door iedereen gebruikt.
