Abstract

Vehicle for transporting a patient, comprising: - a body which is supported by at least four wheels and is provided with drive means for allowing the vehicle to move; - a side door which is accommodated in the body; and - means for accommodating a stretcher system for the patient, which means are located in the body and can be pivoted between a first position, which is aligned in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a second position, which is directed towards the side door.
