Abstract

The engraving-copying milling machine has a pantograph type rod arrangement which is height adjustable on a vertical spindle. The machine has a stand (1) for support of a work table (2) and pattern jig table (3). Both tables are height adjustable. A column (4) supports the pantograph rods (5). The end of the rods have a drive spindle (6) and motor (7) respectively, and a height adjustable sensor spindle (8). Both ends of the spindles (6,8) have a drill chuck fitted to take various milling and sensor bits. As the machine is hand operated, a counter weight is fitted. The drive spindle (6) and sensor (8) are in all positions at an equal distance from the column (4) centre. All sides of the pantograph rods are of equal length. The copy produced from the patterns is 180 degrees rotatable. w.r.t. the jig.
