Abstract

The inflatable ski float (3) has stiffening rods, sticks tubes or laths, exterior to the float bottom. A foot entry space (6) is formed as a flexible wall chamber. The walls (2) longitudinally abut over the main part of their height and recede w.r.t. each other toward the float bottom. The walls along the top edge and the enlarged lower part are fixed all round to the float wall and bottom. The stiffening members (4) are attached to the float bottom by eyes (5) fixed to the float base. The stiffening can be provided by aluminium thin-wall tubes with end sealing caps.

Veiligheidsvoetinstap voor zelfdragende waterski's.Safety foot entry for self-supporting water skis.

The invention relates to a foot step for self-supporting water skis, in particular the water skis designed as inflatable floats, wherein foot and ankles are completely enclosed by air cushions. Patent application 8103271 discloses that the foot step can be located in the inflatable float. The foot is held in place by means of a toe strap which is mounted on a foot instep mounted in the float.

The foot instep to which this invention pertains is constructed so that the ankle and foot, with the exception of the sole of the foot resting on a footboard, is completely enclosed by an air cushion.

In this way an entry is obtained in which the foot is held firmly in place with uniform pressure.

In addition, the feet can be effortlessly removed from the steps constructed according to the invention when leaving the floats.

It can also be considered an advantage that only one very small amount of water can be present in the entrance.

The invention will be elucidated on the basis of an exemplary embodiment with the aid of the drawing, in which: fig. 1 shows a top view of an entrance designed according to the invention.

fig.2 een doorsnede toont over de instap volgens lijn A-A 23 De instap bestaat uit het voetplankje 1 en de wanden 2 welke aan de boven- en onderzijde rondom zijn gelast aan de opblaasbare drijver 3*Fig. 2 shows a cross-section over the entrance along line A-A 23. The entrance consists of the footboard 1 and the walls 2, which are welded all around at the top and bottom to the inflatable float 3 *

Het zal duidelijk zijn dat met de instap volgens de uitvinding de voeten op een gerieflijke wijze met de ski's verbonden zijn, terwijl het in-en uitstappen vrijwel moeiteloos kan plaatsvinden · 8203090It will be clear that with the instep according to the invention the feet are comfortably connected to the skis, while getting in and out can be done almost effortlessly.
