Abstract

The interchangeable holder is for concentrates used in drink-dispensing machines. It comprises a vessel for the concentrate (1), and a metering portion (3) permanently fixed to it. The latter can comprise a chamber with an elastic wall, typically a hose with at the bottom a narrowed portion, or a valve opening towards the outside air. The vessel can be of distorting material reducing in volume as the concentrate is dispensed, or rigid with a vent. The hose can be shut off by application of external pressure from a medium contained in a pipe through which it passes.
