Abstract

The pipe stop valve unit comprises a housing with a number of inlet and discharge ports to which pipes are coupled, and a valve disc movable in the housing. The discharge ports (5) have seats (7) in a common plane inside the housing, and the disc (8) moves in this plane on a path entirely inside the housing, being so arranged that it can shut one or more ports off as desired. The inlet ports (4a) can also have seats (6a) inside the housing in a common plane parallel to and clear of that of the discharge port seats. The disc travels freely between the sets of seats and is movable at right angles to them.
