Abstract

Device for adjustment of the height of a door frame during its installation comprises a guide which guides the frame in a vertical direction, and a further component which holds the frame at the desired height. The guide can comprise two parallel legs (3) which conduct each of the opposite sides of the frame, whilst the fixture unit can comprise holes (4) in each of the legs for frame fixture purposes. The device (1) can comprise, alternatively, a U-shaped support (2) with legs (3) to guide the frame, in which case the legs can be ideally used in conjunction with a frame of hollow cross-section. A further alternative, is for two supports to be provided connected by a union bar.
