Abstract

The cultivation machine has one or more ground loosening implements such as tines mounted on a frame. To deflect on encountering obstructions in the ground, each tine (3) pivots in relation to the frame about the axis of a flexible shaft (9A), situated in front of its free end (15). The shaft can extend horizontally at right angles to the travel direction, and the tine can also slew about the axis (a) of an upright shaft (7), sloping towards the rear, typically at an angle of 35 deg. to the vertical.
