Abstract

The time multiplex system consists of a transmitter and a receiver for a number of binary channel signals. The transmitter has a channel multiplexer and a synchronisation pattern generator both controlled by a time control generator. The time control generator produces an isochronous binary aggregate signal with a prescribed frame. The transmitter (1) contains a converter (13), which produces a modified aggregate signal by differential binary coding. The bits in the synchronisation bit positions of the frame (1) are replaced by the bits of the synchronisation pattern (b).
