Abstract

Tetramethyl-1-oxaspiro 4,5 deca-3,6-dienes of formula (I) are new:- (where one of R1 and R2 is Me and the other is H). Cpds. (I) are useful as perfumes and flavours with mint, clary sage, blackcurrant and citrus notes. They can be used in foodstuffs, drinks, pharmaceuticals, tobacco products, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, etc.
