Abstract

The puppet has mechanically movable body parts, and is operated by a performer's hand and arm being inserted lengthways in the body, the hand being located near the doll's head. In the head, is a plate (8) and suspension means for two eye-balls, (15, 16) comprising two vertical rods (13, 14) on the plate and a socket (17, 18) on the base of which the top of the rod rests. The eye-ball is swivelable suspended in relation to the rod, and each ball has a rearwards pointing pivot lever (10, 20). The two levers are commonly connected by a track rod (19). The track rod or a lever provides an engagement point for operating means to move the eye-balls, and safety means prevent the eye-balls jumping off the rods.
