Abstract

The discharging installation is intened for removing bulk material from ships etc. It comprises a conveyor tube (1) through which the material is discharged and an element (8) rotatable about a horizontal axis at the lower end of the tube to loosen the material. There may be two such elements rotating in opposite directions. These may be arranged to either side of the inlent to the tube. The elements may consist of drums (8) rotatable on shaft ends (6) and provided with blades (11). The drums may have flanged ends (9) with further blades (12) on the outside. The drive motor (7) may be arranged inside the drum.
