Abstract

The bone repositioning instrument is for use during surgical operations. It has a non-flexible body with a concave guide face (4) accommodating the fractured portion (8) to be repositioned, and from this face a handle extends outwards (2). On the other end is a hooked portion (3) extending in the opposite direction to the face, and engaging with the other fractured portion (9) of the bone. The hooked portion can be single-toothed and tapering. Part of the guide face (5) can be curved more sharply than the remainder nearer the handle, the radii of the two parts coinciding where they join.
