Abstract

The vessel is intended for removing plant growth from canals etc. IT comprises propelling and, moving devices (16) at the front with a receptacle (14) for the cuttings behind, a first transporter (17) moving the cuttings across the receptacle, and a second transporter (19) moving the cuttings to the rear of the mechanism. The mowing beam (16) is positioned at the forward edge of the receptacle (14) which contains a transport screw (17) moving the cuttings to one side of the receptacle. The conveyor (19) may be an endless belt extending along one side of the vessel. The mower may be height-adjustable via articulated arms (10, 12) with power actuators (11, 13, 15).
