Abstract

A flow measuring system which is used to measure the quantity of a liquid fuel supply to consuming installation such as an internal combustion engine. It consists of a flow meter, a filter and a ventilating system and a pressure control valve. The four units are integrated into one assembly. There are only three fuel connections, ie. the feed from the supply, the discharge of the consuming unit and the feedback from the consuming unit. The assembly consists of a pressure regulating housing, a metering housing, a float housing and a filter housing which are all interconnected. The seals between the joints by a flexible gasket with fixing screws.
