Abstract

The vibrator for loosening bulk material in a silo (1) with conical outlet hopper (2) comprises a resiliently suspended (11) frame (3) provided with an intermediate member (9) centrally secured to the vibrator motor n6), guide vanes (10) arranged in rosette formation and positive towards the outlet, a cage (12) consisting of support arms (15) inclined walls (13) and rods (14), and resilient buffers (17) between the cage and the hopper. The cage is secured to the frame via longitudinally and torsionally resilient elements (16). The inner ends of the support arms (15) may be suspended below the frame by these elements (16) and engage a flange of the member (9). The elements (16) may be helical springs with adjustable tension. The buffers (17) may be arranged on the outside of the inclined cage walls (13).
