Abstract

The annular grating supports the pipes in a heat exchanger tube bundle, having a number of concentric ring strips evenly spaced so as to form the inner and outer periphery (1, 2). Identical components (3, 5, 6) are fitted between the adjacent strips so as to form with the latter a structure with segments of the same surface area. The components have bosses (5, 6) formed in them, by means of which the pipes (4) are supported. Each component can be of Z-section, the upright portion being at an obtuse angle to the horizontal ones fixed to the adjacent strips, while a boss is formed in each side of the upright portion, symmetrical in relation to its centre. Thus each pipe is supported at two points on its periphery.
