Abstract

The strips are for supporting flexible plastic tubes on a solar heating panel. The strips are of T-section, with grooves to accommodate the tubes cut along the edge of the central part. The edges of the base have tongue and groove fittings (22, 24) to hold strips together. The tongues and grooves can have retaining devices formed on them. Other, rectangular section strips have half thickness slots cut alternately on the upper and lower surfaces. These strips can be assembled together at right angles by engaging slots together. The retaining devices can be in the form of projections on the tongues which are received in recesses in the groove walls.
