Abstract

The ceiling is in strip sections for fixing to beams, and the strips are of trough-section. One vertical side of the trough (3) has a flange at the top (5) extending inwards, and the opposite one (4) a wider one (6) extending outwards. Recesses (10) are formed in the beams, each accommodating the inwards-extending flange of one strip and the outwards-extending one of the next. The distance between the inwards-extending flange and the base of the trough section can be less than that between the outwards-extending flange and the base, by the amount of the material thickness, the latter flange lying on top of the former.
