Abstract

The corner connector is intended for connecting two rods or tubes at an angle determined by the connector. It consists of two identical halves (1) with complementary locating elements (2, 3), which halves are retained together by clamps (4). The parting face between the two halves coincides with the plane through the centre lines of the rods. The locating elements are arranged on the parting face and are integral with the connector halves. They may consist of projections (2) and complementary recesses (3) at equal distance (a) from the centre lines of the rods. The clamping elements (4) are non-protruding and are arranged at equal distances from these centre lines. Each connector half may be integral with the rod to be connected.
