Abstract

The vehicle has a panel sliding in guide grooves on opposite sides of a roof opening and having ramps at the front, while there is a wind guard at the front of the opening. As the panel is thrust forward, the ramps bear against pieces on the guard, causing it to fold down from a position extending above the roof. Each of the angle pieces (4) has a ramp face (8) sloping upwards, and behind this face hinges on a rocker lever (10) with a locking surface (10a), bearing against the bottom of the guide groove (1) with the guard (3) in the extended position. As the panel is thrust forward, the ramp faces (2) on its first strike the rocker levers and swing them out of the way, after which they come into contact with the ramp faces on the angle pieces.
