Abstract

The valve is intended for installation on a vertical feed pipe (2) in a tank (1) and comprises a cylindrical section (6) secured to the pipe and a tubular element (10) with bottom (19) and openings (24) adjacent to the bottom. The tubular element is rigidly connected with the cylindrical section such that an opening remains between the rim of the section and the bottom, through which the water can flow. A sleeve (25) can slide on the cylindrical section and is connected with a float (12) inside the tubular element. The ring can slide between a position in which it closes the opening, corresponding with highest water level, and an open position when the level is lower.
