Abstract

The plate is for use with an air vent, a passage for an aerial etc fitting round a collar enclosing an aperture in the plate, the position of the fitting being adjustable to suit the slope of the roof. The collar (3) to which the fitting (4) is secured has a fixed position in the plate (1). The fitting is so shaped as to allow adaption to any degree of roof slope. It can have a curved lower part (5), with marked lines or preferably grooves. By cutting off along the appropriate groove the lower edge is shaped to match the roof slopes. The lines can radiate from the uppermost point of the lower end of the fitting.
