Abstract

The sleeve housing has a longitudinal bore extending to one end of the sleeve (121) and containing a pear-shaped clamp body (8) spring-loaded by a conical spring which urges the clamp towards the open end of the housing. The second bore is at an acute angle relative to the first, and communicates therewith in the region of the clamp body. The release latch is located in the first bore and extends radially outwards through a slot in the housing wall. The latch has a bearing at the end facing the open end of the housing, which bearing carries the clamp body so as to permit tipping movement thereof.
