Abstract

Signal generator for the charging current indicator lamp in a motor vehicle. It differs from the conventional indicator lamps in that when the indicator lamp goes out, it means that the charging of the battery has in fact started. The signal generator is an independent separate component which can be fitted to any type of vehicle irrespective of the make. It has merely to be connected in series with the charging circuit of the battery. The signal generator will switch over the indicator lamp when the voltage of the generator terminals is bove or below the battery voltage.
