Abstract

The brush head is detachably secured to a hollow handle (2) accommodating washing liquid. The head end of the handle is connected via distribution passages with the surface in which the bristles are planted. The liquid can be delivered to the bristles by squeezing the handle, and a shut-off device can be fitted between handle and head to stop the flow of liquid if desired. A valve in the head coupling can be provided, operated by turning the head, and the distribution passages can be incorporated in the detachable head distributor member. A point can be provided on the head, to puncture the handle when fitting in place.
