Abstract

The fall-breaker consists of at least one layer of rubber or similar straps arranged side by side, fixed to two or more opposite side walls of the box. The fall-breaker may be formed from a sheet or plate of resilient material provided with a number of parallel cuts or slots, extending to contain a certain distance from each of two opposed side walls. The cuts or slots may each end in a round or oval hole in the plate. The layer may be adjustable in height within the box. The fall-breaker may consist of a frame with straps fixed on two opposed sides.
