Abstract

The box is an integral part of a safety system and contains various components such as terminals etc. It is made in two separate sections which are clamped together when in operation. The wiring in one of the two sections is interrupted leaving an open circuit. When the cover is fitted to the base the two terminals will be bridged. The cover incorporates a printed circuit board with the break in circuit at the point where the two sections are clamped. This box serves as protection against unauthorised opening of the box, in which case the supply to the components will automatically be switched off.
