Abstract
At least one pipe through which heating/cooling medium is circulated has the sintered metal filter material applied directly to its outer wall and the filter section is enclosed within a housing with inlet and outlet at right angles, to the pipe axis, for the flow of the medium to be filtered. The ends of the filter mass are chamfered at approx. 45 degrees over their whole thickness. Filter is used esp. for refrigeration plant.
