Abstract

In an electrophotographic copier of the known type in which a latent image is produced on an endless photoconducting strip or belt, is then developed by means of a mixt. of magnetisable particles and a powdered colouring matter, and thereafter transferred to, and fixed on, a copy paper, while residual powder on the endless photoconducting belt is removed, the latter consists of a somewhat conducting paper on which a photoconducting layer is applied consisting of ZnO sensitised with one or more dyestuffs in an insulating binder.
