Abstract

Flameproof door consists of a supporting frame, cover plates on opposite sides of the frame, and a plate material filling the hollow between the core plates and the frame, while the cover plates consist of cement bonded asbestos with additives, and are bonded to the frame by a synthetic resin, and the filter plates consist of swollen mica. The synthetic resin is pref. a resorcinol resin. The door has excellent flameproof properties and a good dimensional stability.
