Abstract

Cephalexine in its delta-crystalline form (a form less hygroscopic than the beta-form) is prepd. by forming a suspension of the beta-form in MeOH contg. less than 2% water and allowing the delta-form to develop. A pure betaform is prepd. from the delta-form by contacting the delta-form with water.
