Abstract

TV screen protective glass screens have their convex surface finished by grinding and polishing by mounting the protective glass screens on an endless band such that the convex surface is facing upwardly whilst the leading and trailing edges are clamped internally by slats of the conveyor which is moved progressively under an array of pivotally mounted rollers forced into contact with the convex surface which is supplied with a spray of grinding and polishing media whereby the spent media are rinsed off the surface.
