Abstract

Two layered plastics electric cable cover... Has an inner layer of a first material for encasing the cable and an outer layer of a second material which is thermoleformable and is also less extensible than the first material. The first material is pref. PVC and second material is pref. nylon. The cover is made by extrusion, the outer layer then being formed into a self-supporting shape, esp. a helical or sinous shape. Used for carrying insulated wires between the tractor and the trailer of an articulated vehicle.
