Abstract
In an attachment for tractors or wheel loaders, with at least one chassis, at least one scraping rail upstream from the chassis for processing a subsoil, and with two scraping plates hinged. to a respective lateral rail end. of the 5 scraping rail, it is provided that the pivotable scraping plates have an adjustment angle of more than 90 degrees starting at the 0° position pointing in the direction of travel.
Description
ATTACHMENT FOR A TRACTOR, IN PARTICULAR A LEVELING PLANER The invention relates to an attachment for tractors or wheel loaders, with at least one chassis, at least one scraping rail upstream from the chassis for processing a subsoil, and with two scraping plates hinged to a respective lateral rail end of the scraping rail.
Such attachments are known as leveling plates, leveling planers, kilvers or simple leveling screeds, which are moved over the subsoil to be processed by means of wheel loaders or tractors. For example, such an attachment with its own chassis, which is pulled over the ground by a tractor or wheel loader, is known from US patent specification US 5,890,546 A. Less similar attachments that do not have their own chassis are known from US patent US 5,819,444 A and application US 2017/0218597 A. While these known attachments are suitable in particular for leveling existing surfaces, road and path construction requires so-called graders, which enable the manufacture of inclined planes. However, graders are heavy, self-driven construction machines, which often are not available to private companies for reasons of cost.
Manufacturing inclined planes requires transferring soil, and as a workaround can also be done with the known attachments, specifically by moving a scraping plate pivoted around its vertical rotational axis inclined to the traveling direction over the subsoil traveling in reverse.
However, this option is cumbersome, and demands a lot of patience and skill from the driver of the tractor unit.
Therefore, the object of the invention is to indicate an attachment of the generic type mentioned at the outset, whose range of application has been expanded by that of a grader in an especially simple manner.
This object is achieved according to the invention by an attachment with the features of protective claim 1.
Advantageous further developments of the invention are indicated in the subclaims. The attachment according to the invention is characterized in that the pivotable scraping plates have an adjustment angle of more than 90° starting at the 0° position pointing in the direction of travel. While the pivotable scraping plates act as extensions of the scraping rail at an adjustment angle of exactly 90°, larger adjustment angles cause subsoil to be pushed out of the working line traversed by the scraping rail. Conversely, adjustment angles of less than 90° make it possible to actively gather subsoil into the working line traversed by the scraping rail. As a consequence, one of the two scraping plates can be set to an inclined angle of less than 90°, for example 45°, and the respective other scraping plate to an inclined angle of more than 90°, for example 135°. As a consequence, the attachment according to the invention enables an effective transfer of soil, in that it can be moved from the one side of the working line to the other side of the working line. If a subsoil is traversed repeatedly, suitable levels of the kind essential for road and path construction can be produced in this simple way.
In a first further development of the invention, the chassis has a plate receptacle upstream from the scraping rail for an optionally usable deflection plate. The latter significantly improves the process of moving soil in a direction running transverse to the working line, because excess subsoil can be controllably supplied to the following scraping rail, as well as to the following scraping plates. In order to disable a deflection plate accommodated in the plate receptacle, the plate receptacle is arranged in a constraining guide with a hydraulically movable swivel arm. In particular, the hydraulically movable swivel arm makes it possible to lift the plate receptacle into a transport position. The constraining guide can also be designed to provide adjustment options, making it possible to adjust the work height of the plate receptacle. The work height significantly determines the quantity of subsoil transferred transverse to the traveling direction of the attachment, and can lie somewhat above or even somewhat below the zero line defined with the scraping rail.
In another further development of the invention, the plate receptacle and the swivel arm are connected with each other by a rotary joint with a vertical axis of rotation. The rotary joint makes it possible to optionally deflect the subsoil to the right or left side of the processing line.
In order to be able to compact a subsoil transferred by a deflection plate and then smoothed out by the scraping rail, the chassis has several drum bodies with a smooth drum that run on at least one axis. The track width jointly formed by the drum body preferably corresponds to the length of the scraper rail running ahead of the drum bodies in this track.
In another further development of the invention, the plate receptacle has allocated to it an entire set of deflection plates with different deflection geometries. The latter are used to optimally adjust the deflection plates for processing various subsoils, such as sand, gravel, or grit. As a consequence, the attachment according to the invention can be easily retrofitted to process different subsoils equally well.
In an especially advantageous further development of the invention, the scraping rail and the scraping plates are connected with each other by robust single hinges, wherein the scraping rail and/or the scraping plates have notches that accommodate the single hinges. The notches prevent larger hinge gaps, through which disruptive leaks from removed subsoil can arise.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the invention, from which additional inventive features arise. Shown on: Figure 1: is a perspective view of an attachment according to the invention while performing work on a tractor, and
Figure 2: is a side view of the attachment while performing work according to Figure 1.
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an attachment according to the invention while performing work on a tractor 1, which pulls the attachment over a subsoil 2 to be leveled. The attachment has a chassis 3, a scraping rail 4 upstream from the chassis 3, and scraping plates 5, 6 pivotably hinged via hydraulic cylinders to a respective lateral rail end of the scraping rail 4. The latter have an adjustment angle of more than 90° starting at the 0° position pointing in the direction of travel. The figure shows the scraping plate 5 in a 0° position and the scraping plate © in a 135° position, so that the subsoil 2 is shifted on the left edge 7 of the processing line 8. The chassis 3 has a plate receptacle 9 upstream from the scraping rail 4 for a deflection plate 10. The plate receptacle 9 is guided on a hydraulically movable swivel arm 11. In addition, the chassis 3 has several drum bodies 12 that run on at least one axis and each have a smooth drum 13.
Figure 2 shows a side view of the attachment while performing work according to Figure 1. As evident from the side view, the plate receptacle 9 with the hydraulically activatable swivel arm 11 is arranged in a constraining guide 14. Identical components are provided with identical reference numbers.
All features mentioned in the above specification and in the claims can be combined as desired with the features of the independent claim. As a consequence, the disclosure of the invention is not limited to the described or claimed feature combinations; rather, all feature combinations that make sense within the framework of the invention must be regarded as disclosed.
