The present invention relates to a hygienic product for garbage container lid interiors. The present invention relates to a hygienic product for garbage container member interiors.
Garbage containers, and the like, often contain organic materials and/or objects containing liquids, which are disposed therein by the user. Over time the said objects and materials decompose and the liquids will evaporate, especially when the surrounding environment has a relatively high temperature, as is the case in, for instance, regions with a relatively hot climate or during summertime or the like. This results in widely encountered problems such as unpleasant odors, accumulated moisture, fungi (e.g. mold), and/or bacteria on the interior of the container lid, and the like. In addition, for instance bacteria and/or fungi can become airborne when opening the container lid, posing risk of inhalation by the user. Usually the interior hygiene of containers is ensured through use of, for instance, garbage bags disposed therein, which shield the interior of a container to the aforementioned problems and the like. However, the interior of the container lid is often unshielded, and will have to be cleaned by hand, posing health risks to the user. In addition, airborne substances/particles can cause respiratory problems for the user. As mentioned above, these issues are especially prevalent in warm climates, e.g. areas having near-equator latitudes.Garbage containers, and the like, often contain organic materials and / or objects containing liquids, which are disposed therein by the user. The goal of the invention is to solve the aforementioned problems and/or to provide a product capable of significantly increasing the hygiene of garbage container lid interiors, whilst being disposable, easy to use, simple to manufacture, cheap, and/or environmentally friendly. The goal of the invention is to solve the aforementioned problems and / or to provide a product capable of significantly increasing the hygiene or garbage container member interiors, while being disposable, easy to use, simple to manufacture, cheap, and / or environmentally friendly.
According to the invention the product comprises a pad, comprising an outer layer forming an outer surface of the pad, the outer layer being comprised of a top layer and an at least partially air permeable bottom layer, at least one material having a hygienic effect arranged between the top layer and the bottom layer, and an adhesive layer disposed on the outer surface of the top layer for removably mounting the pad to the interior of a container lid, a removable sealing film arranged to seal the adhesive layer prior to mounting of the pad to the container lid interior, and a removable seal arranged to seal at least the bottom layer in an airtight manner prior to usage.According to the invention the product comprises a pad, including an outer layer forming an outer surface of the pad, the outer layer being comprised of a top layer and at least partially air permeable bottom layer, at least one material having a hygienic effect arranged between the top layer and the bottom layer, and an adhesive layer disposed on the outer surface of the top layer for removably mounting the pad to the interior of a container member, a removable sealing film arranged to seal the adhesive layer prior to mounting of the pad to the container interior, and a removable seal arranged to seal at least the bottom layer in an airtight manner prior to usage.
The advantage of the invention is that the product is readily disposable on the interior of the container lid, and the material comprised therein is used to negate the aforementioned problems, which is, amongst other effects, beneficial for the user’s health as it provides an overall improved cleanliness of the used container. The disposable nature of the invention makes it convenient for the user to replace the product when, for instance, changing the product and/or emptying the container. The sealing film and the seal ensure the storability of the product, namely the product will not be affected by its surroundings during storage prior to use of the product. Therefore, the product can conveniently be bought in bulk quantities and stored for future use without significant degradation of its hygienic and adhesive attributes. The advantage of the invention is that the product is readily disposable on the interior of the container member, and the material comprised therein is used to negate the aforementioned problems, which is, among other effects, beneficial for the user's health as it provides an overall improved cleanliness of the used container.
