The present invention relates to a firefighter emergency air supply fire water branch device, more particularly to a fire water branch device for emergency air supply to a firefighter with a fire hose, in case of emergency, and belongs to the technical field of fire-fighting equipment.
With the growth of the economy and continuous development of society, diversity of fire disaster is becoming more and more complicated. Confronting the complicated fire scene environment, firefighters often have to attack internally in order to timely and effectively suppress the fire disaster, so as to ensure safety of people’s life and property to the largest extent. However, the risk confronted by firefighters themselves is also greatly increased accordingly. In the event of emergencies, such as collapse of shelves, smoke blockade, collapse of the building and the like, the evacuation route of the firefighter can be blocked. In such case, the firefighter cannot withdraw from the fire scene within the predefined time resulting in the firefighter’s own air breathing apparatus running out air. Amongst other factors, the supply of air is crucial for the well-being of the firefighter. Ultimately, the firefighter’s own air breathing apparatus running out air may result in the death of the firefighter.
In the patent with a patent No. ZL201520706240.3, there is designed a firefighter emergency air supply device including an air supply interface and an air reception interface. The fire hose described can be used to supply air to the firefighter trapped in danger. However, the major problem lies in that it is necessary for the firefighter to take along the air reception interface to the fire scene in advance. In case the air reception interface is left behind, i.e. outside the fire scene, the emergency air supply device will not function.
One object of the present invention is to overcome the aforementioned deficiency,
i.e. to provide a firefighter emergency air supply fire water branch device designed to supply air to the trapped firefighter in case of emergency. By providing the possibility to supply air to the trapped firefighter, valuable time for subsequent rescue can be obtained improving the survival rate of the trapped firefighter.
The present invention provides hereto a firefighter emergency air supply fire water branch device including a fire water branch head, an air breathing apparatus air reception connector, an air supply pipeline and an air supply connector device. The firefighter emergency air supply fire water branch device further comprises a water inlet end of the fire water branch head provided with an air reception connector and wherein the fire water branch head is connected to a water outlet of the air supply pipeline via the air reception connector. Further, a water inlet of the air supply pipeline is connected to the air supply connector device via an air supply pipeline interface and the fire water branch head is provided with the air breathing apparatus air reception connector.
In a further embodiment of the present invention, the air supply connector device may be provided with a one-way air inflation valve.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the air supply connector device may be provided with a gas pressure gage. The air supply connector device may be provided with an air breathing apparatus air supply connector.
Given the above, it is noted that the device of the present invention is simple, compact and rational in structure, solving the problem of carrying an air reception interface. The device of the present invention is simple in manufacturing and suitable for mass production and application. Further, the device can supply air to the trapped firefighter in case of emergency providing valuable time for subsequent rescue improving the survival rate of the trapped firefighter. The device may have a diversity of air supply modes, which can be applicable to a various conditions.
The present invention will be further elucidated on the basis of the non-limitative exemplary embodiments shown in the following figures. Herein:
figure 1 is a front view according to the present invention.
As shown in figure 1, the device according to the present invention mainly includes a fire water branch head 1, an air breathing apparatus air reception connector 2, an air supply pipeline 4, and an air supply connector device 5.
A water inlet end of the fire water branch head 1 is provided with an air reception connector 3 and the fire water branch head 1 is connected to a water outlet of the air supply pipeline 4 via the air reception connector 3. A water inlet of the air supply pipeline 4 is connected to the air supply connector device 5 via an air supply pipeline interface 6. The fire water branch head 1, the air supply pipeline 4 and the air supply connector device 5 form an access to provide emergency air supply for a firefighter in the fire. The air supply pipeline 4 can connect to a fire hose or a fire hydrant pipeline. In the fire scene, the fire hose and the fire hydrant pipeline form one channel to connect the outside of the fire scene with the inside of the fire scene. In case the firefighter in the fire scene has run out of oxygen and is trapped in the fire scene, the fire hose and the fire hydrant pipeline can be used to provide emergency air supply for the firefighter trapped in the fire.
The fire water branch head 1 is provided with the air breathing apparatus air reception connector 2 which air breathing apparatus air reception connector 2 can be connected to the face mask of the air breathing apparatus carried by the firefighter.
The air supply connector device 5 is provided with a one-way air inflation valve 7 which one-way air inflation valve 7 can be connected to a vehicle air inflation hose, so that the vehicle gas storage tank can be utilized to supply air to the fire hose.
The air supply connector device 5 is provided with an air breathing apparatus air supply connector 9 which air breathing apparatus air supply connector 9 is connected to the compressed gas cylinder of the air breathing apparatus to supply air to the air supply pipeline 4.
The air supply connector device 5 is provided with a gas pressure gage 8 to observe the pressure of the gas within the emergency air supply pipeline 4 to avoid cracks in the supply pipeline 4.
Because of the complicated conditions of a fire scene, the present invention includes three types of air supply modes, including:
1. the use of the compressed air cylinder to supply air; the air breathing apparatus air supply connector on the air supply connector device is connected to the compressed air cylinder commonly used by a firefighter to supply air. This air supply mode is simple and fast, the air pressure is large, and the fire hose can be quickly filled. However, the compressed air cylinder cannot be supplied for a long time due to its volume restriction, therefore a switch of an air valve is preferably used to replace the compressed air cylinder;
2. the use of the vehicle gas storage tank to supply air; the one-way air inflation valve on the air supply connector device is connected to the vehicle gas storage tank via an on-board air inflation duct to supply air. This air supply mode is long in duration, but the air inflation speed and the pressure are small. It is noted that this air supply mode can be used in supplement (and as a standby) for the air inflation mode above, i.e. using the compressed air cylinder; and
3. the use of the air compressor to supply air; the air inflation interface of the air compressor is connected to a one-way air inflation valve or a quick plug-pull interface on the air supply connector device to supply air to the fire hose. This air supply mode is flexible, but the utilization rate of the air compressor in the rescue site is usually not high. Also, this air supply mode can be used in supplement (and as a standby) for the above two air inflation modes.
During use, the fire water branch head 1 is carried by a firefighter to enter the fire scene for firefighting. The air supply connector device 5 is left outside the fire scene. When the firefighter has entered the fire scene for firefighting and the evacuation route of the firefighter is blocked causing the firefighter to be trapped into the fire scene, the firefighter trapped into the fire scene will ask the firefighter outside the fire scene to stop water supply in the fire hose and connect the air reception connector 3 to the outer end of the fire hose. The trapped firefighter himself can turn off the air acceptable fire water branch 1 and connect it to the face mask of the air breathing apparatus carried by the firefighter. Based on the specific conditions of the emergency situation, the firefighter outside the fire scene is able to select one (or a combination) of the above-defined three modes of air supply. The trapped firefighter is now supplied with oxygen and is able to wait for rescue through air respiration provided by the fire hose. According to the specific conditions, the fire water branch head 1 and the air supply connector device 5 can also be connected to the indoor fire hydrant, respectively for air supply.
