Particular embodiments
The present invention is described in further detail below in conjunction with the embodiments in the accompanying drawings.
Embodiment 1:
As Figs. 1-8 show, the parasol of this embodiment comprises a fixing seat 1 and an umbrella frame 2 provided on the fixing seat 1; the umbrella frame 2 comprises a first cross bar 21, a second cross bar 22 and diagonal rods 23; the first cross bar 21 and second cross bar 22 are parallel and spaced apart; the diagonal rods 23 are moveably connected between the first cross bar 21 and second cross bar 22.
As Fig. 2 shows, the diagonal rods 23 in this embodiment comprise a first diagonal rod 231 and a second diagonal rod 232; the first diagonal rod 231 and second diagonal rod 232 are arranged to cross over one another and are rotatably connected by a first shaft pin 100 at a crossover point; one end of the first diagonal rod 231 is connected to a front end of the first cross bar 21, the other end of the first diagonal rod 231 is connected to a rear end of the second cross bar 22; one end of the second diagonal rod 232 is connected to a front end of the second cross bar 22, the other end of the second diagonal rod 232 is connected to a rear end of the first cross bar 21. Specifically, front ends of the first cross bar 21 and the second cross bar 22 are each provided in a fixed manner with a fixing sleeve 201 by means of a peg; a side part of the fixing sleeve 201 has an outwardly extending first hinge part 202; front ends of the first diagonal rod 231 and the second diagonal rod 232 are each hinged to the corresponding first hinge part 202 by means of a second shaft pin 200. Rear ends of the first cross bar 21 and the second cross bar 22 are each moveably connected to a sliding sleeve 24; a side part of the sliding sleeve 24 has an outwardly extending second hinge part 203; rear ends of the first diagonal rod 231 and the second diagonal rod 232 are each hinged to the corresponding second hinge part 203 by means of a third shaft pin 300. As Fig. 6 shows, the first cross bar 21 and the second cross bar 22 in this embodiment are both formed as tubes of abnormal shape, i.e. unconventional round tube elements on which are distributed slide grooves 204; the slide grooves 204 are arranged in an axial direction on the periphery of the first cross bar 21 and the periphery of the second cross bar 22, and correspondingly, sliders 241 which mate with the slide grooves 204 in a guided manner are provided on inner walls of the sliding sleeves 24, thereby enabling the rear ends of the first diagonal rod 231 and the second diagonal rod 232 to move in the axial direction of the first cross bar 21 and the second cross bar 22, via the mating of the slide grooves 240 with the sliders 241.
In this embodiment, the umbrella frame 2 is provided with an adjustment mechanism 3 capable of making the second cross bar 22 approach or move away from the first cross bar 21 and capable of fixing the relative positions of the first cross bar 21 and second cross bar 22. The adjustment mechanism 3 comprises a connecting rod 31, a button 32, a button nipple 33, a locating pin 34, a connecting rod nipple 35 and a spring 36; the connecting rod 31, button nipple 33 and connecting rod nipple 35 are all disposed in an internal cavity of the second cross bar 22, with the button nipple 33 and the connecting rod nipple 35 corresponding to two ends of the connecting rod 31 respectively; the button nipple 33 is relatively disposed on an inner side of the second cross bar 22, while the connecting rod nipple 35 is relatively disposed on an outer side of the second cross bar 22. Specifically, the button nipple 33 and connecting rod nipple 35 are each connected in a fixed manner to the second cross bar 22 by means of a screw; a first shaft hole 331 for one end of the connecting rod 31 to pass through is provided in the axial direction of the button nipple 33, and a first through-hole 221 corresponding to the button nipple 33 is provided on the second cross bar 22; correspondingly, a first insertion hole 332 in communication with the first shaft hole 331 is provided on the button nipple 33, with the first insertion hole 332 being arranged to be perpendicular to the first shaft hole 331. A bottom end of the button 32 is inserted into the first insertion hole 332; the bottom end of the button 32 is formed as an inclined surface sloping from top to bottom; the inclined surface abuts an end of the connecting rod 31; a top end of the button 32 is exposed outside the first through-hole 221, and when the button 32 is pressed, the inclined surface at the bottom end of the button 32 pushes the connecting rod 31 to move towards the connecting rod nipple 35. To ensure that the button 32 can only move up and down in the first insertion hole 332 but cannot rotate circumferentially, the first insertion hole 332 and the bottom end of the button 32 are correspondingly formed to have matching non-cylindrical shapes; they may be non-cylindrical or rectangular, etc. A limiting part 321 is formed in a middle part of the button 32 so as to extend outward circumferentially; the limiting part 321 engages with an inner side of the first through-hole 221 of the second cross bar 22, thereby preventing the button 32 from separating from the second cross bar 22.
As Figs. 4, 5 and 6 show, a second shaft hole 351 for the other end of the connecting rod 31 to pass through is provided in the axial direction of the connecting rod nipple 35, and a second through-hole 222 corresponding to the connecting rod nipple 35 is provided on the second cross bar 22; correspondingly, a second insertion hole 352 in communication with the second shaft hole 351 is provided on the connecting rod nipple 35, with the second insertion hole 352 being arranged to be perpendicular to the second shaft hole 351. To prevent the connecting rod 31 from rotating circumferentially in the second cross bar 22 and thereby affecting use, that end of the connecting rod 31 which corresponds to the connecting rod nipple 35 is formed to have a non-cylindrical shape; an outer end of the second shaft hole 351 matches the non-cylindrical end of the connecting rod 31. A sloping surface is formed at the position where the non-cylindrical end of the connecting rod 31 is connected to a main body of the connecting rod 31; a bottom end of the locating pin 34 is inserted into the second insertion hole 352 and corresponds to the sloping surface. A limiting ring 341 is formed at a lower part of the locating pin 34 so as to extend outward circumferentially; the limiting ring 341 engages with an inner side of the second through-hole 222 of the second cross bar 22, thereby preventing the locating pin 34 from separating from the second cross bar 22. The spring 36 is fitted around the periphery of the connecting rod 31 and causes the connecting rod 31 to maintain a tendency to move towards the button 32 at all times. Specifically, a fourth shaft pin 400 arranged perpendicular to the axial direction is provided on the connecting rod 31; one end of the spring 36 abuts an inner side of the connecting rod nipple 35, while the other end of the spring 36 abuts the fourth shaft pin 400; since the connecting rod nipple 35 is connected in a fixed manner to the second cross bar 22, the elastic force of the spring 36 causes the connecting rod 31 to maintain at all times a tendency to move towards the button 32 and thereby push the locating pin 34 out of the second through-hole 222, and an engagement hole 242 capable of mating with the locating pin 34 in a locating manner is provided on the sliding sleeve 24. When the connecting rod 31 moves towards the outer end of the second shaft hole 351 under the pushing action of the button 32, the lower end of the sloping surface of the connecting rod 31 corresponds to the locating pin 34 and is not in contact with the locating pin 34, and the locating pin 34 retracts into the second cross bar 22 under the action of gravity and thereby cancels the locating action on the sliding sleeve 24; at this time, the sliding sleeve 24 can be moved in the axial direction of the second cross bar 22.
It is also possible to adjust the angle of the canopy of the parasol in this embodiment as required. Specifically, as Fig. 7 shows, the fixing seat 1 is connected to the first cross bar 21 of the umbrella frame 2 via an angle adjustment mechanism 4. The angle adjustment mechanism 4 may be an adjustment mechanism capable of realizing canopy angle adjustment in the prior art, and is preferably the canopy adjustment mechanism disclosed in Chinese utility model application ZL 201020205120.2. A fixed end 401 of the angle adjustment mechanism 4 is connected in a fixed manner to the fixing seat 1 by screws; a rotating end 402 of the angle adjustment mechanism 4 is connected in a clasped manner to the first cross bar 21 of the umbrella frame 2 by means of connecting elements 41 and screws.
As Fig. 8 shows, the parasol in this embodiment is stood upon the ground by means of an umbrella stand 5 and an upright post 6. A top end of the upright post 6 is connected to the fixing seat 1; a bottom end of the upright post 6 is connected to the umbrella stand 5 in such a way as to be capable of moving up and down. Specifically, a top end of the umbrella stand 5 has an extending part 51 which is directed upwards; the interior of the extending part 51 is hollow, and multiple adjustment holes 511 are provided on the extending part 51, arranged at intervals from top to bottom. The bottom end of the upright post 6 is inserted into the extending part 51, and a locating hole 61 is provided on the bottom end of the upright post 6; the height of the parasol can be fixed by moving the upright post 6 up or down so that the locating hole 61 aligns with an adjustment hole 511 on the extending part 51, and then inserting a peg into the aligned locating hole 61 and adjustment hole 511.
The umbrella stand 5 in this embodiment comprises a body 52 and weights 53 connected detachably on two sides of the body 52. Multiple connecting holes 521 arranged at intervals are provided on the two sides of the body 52; correspondingly, one end of each weight 53 is formed as a connecting head 531 which matches and is inserted into the connecting hole 521. In this embodiment, the interior of the weight 53 is hollow, and different packing materials may be packed into an internal cavity of the weight 53 as required, so as to position the umbrella stand 5 stably on the ground. The weight 53 may be of regular shape, such as strip-shaped or post-shaped, or may have an irregular profile; the number of weights 53 may also be adjusted as required, to realize spatially flexible use.
When it is necessary to open the canopy during use of the parasol of this embodiment, the second cross bar 22 is pulled outwards to drive the sliding sleeve 24 to move in the axial direction of the second cross bar 22; when the sliding sleeve 24 moves to the position of the locating pin 34, the locating pin 34 engages in the engagement hole 242 of the sliding sleeve 24, thereby fixing the canopy. When it is necessary to gather up the canopy, the button 32 is pressed, the inclined surface at the bottom end of the button 32 gradually applies a force to an end of the connecting rod 31, impelling the connecting rod 31 to move towards the connecting rod nipple 35 against the elastic force of the spring 36; when the other end of the connecting rod 31 has moved a certain distance towards the outer end of the second shaft hole 351, the lower end of the sloping surface on the connecting rod 31 corresponds to the locating pin 34 and is not in contact with the locating pin 34, and the locating pin 34 retracts into the second cross bar 22 under the action of gravity and thereby cancels the locating action on the sliding sleeve 24; at this time, the sliding sleeve 24 can move in the axial direction of the second cross bar 22, and all that need be done is to push the second cross bar 22 inwards so that the canopy is gathered up. Thus the rapid opening or gathering up of the canopy is realized, to provide the user with great convenience.
