De onderhavige uitvinding heeft betrekking op een voedselhouder, waarbij de houder een schaalvormig basiselement omvat met een bodem aan de omtreksrand waarvan een rondgaande opstaande wand is voorzien, waarbij de bodem en de wand voedselcompartiment vormen waarin het voedsel, in het bijzonder vooraf bereid voedsel, kan worden aangebracht.
