Abstract

The strap (1) is intended for relieving a point of muscle attachment, e.g. in the event of inflammation of this arrachment such as in a case of tennis elbow. It comprises a stiff (thermo-plastic) pad (3), which is placed over the muscle, and a strap (2), which is tensioned around this pad and the limb concerned. - The strap may have a closed buckle (6) at one end whilst its other end comprises a pile portion (4) engageable by a hook portion (5).The pad may be held inside the strap via hook-pile portions.(1/3)
