5 De onderhavige uitvinding heeft betrekking op een systeem voor het afwerken van een rand tussen een plafond en een wand omvattende een afwerkprofiel en bevestigingsmiddelen voor het tegen het plafond en tegen de wand bevestigen van het afwerkprofiel.The present invention relates to a system for finishing an edge between a ceiling and a wall comprising a finishing profile and fixing means for fixing the finishing profile against the ceiling and against the wall.
Een dergelijk systeem wordt omschreven in Nederlands 10 octrooi NL 1003163, waarin het omschreven systeem wordt toegepast in combinatie met een verlaagd plafond dat wordt gevormd door tussen latten opgespannen doek. Bij het bekende systeem wordt gebruik gemaakt van een geëxtrudeerde kunststof lat die via afstandsblokken langs een wand van een ruimte is bevestigd aan het vaste plafond van de ruimte. De lat bevat 15 een aantal zich in de lengterichting uitstrekkende gleuven die naar beneden toe open zijn. In één van die gleuven wordt het plafonddoek van het verlaagde plafond opgespannen met behulp van een langgerekte strip die met daar omheen geslagen het uiteinde van het doek in de betreffende gleufklem omhoog wordt gedrukt, terwijl in een andere gleuf die meer naar 20 de wand toe is gelegen een van weerhaken voorziene rib deel uitmakend van een afwerkprofiel aan de bovenzijde daarvan, omhoog wordt gedrukt. De betreffende gleuf is zelf ook voorzien van weerhaken zodat de aldus gemaakte verbinding tussen het afwerkprof iel en de lat een min of meer permanent karakter heeft en in de praktijk slechts door vakmensen los te 25 maken is. Vanwege dit min of meer permanente karakter van de bevestiging van het afwerkprof iel aan het plafond via de lat is het niet eenvoudig mogelijk om een afwerkprofiel nadat deze is aangebracht te vervangen door het andere afwerkprofiel, hetgeen wenselijk kan zijn bij het wijzigen van een interieur van de betreffende ruimte of bijvoorbeeld indien het 30 afwerkprofiel beschadigd zou zijn. Een verder bezwaar dat kleeft aan de toepassing van het bekende afwerksysteem is er in gelegen dat naarmate de 1 02955 3 2 hoogte van het afwerkprofiel toeneemt, oftewel het afwerkprofiel zich tot verder onder het verlaagde plafond uitstrekt, het risico toeneemt, m.n. indien de wand waarlangs het afwerkprofiel wordt aangebracht in een verticaal vlak loodrecht op de betreffende wand een zekere van boven naar 5 beneden naar buiten gerichte scheefstand heeft, dat een visueel storende spleet ontstaat tussen het de onderzijde van het afwerkprofiel en de wand. Om dit probleem op te lossen is het in de praktijk reeds bekend om ook een klemstrip tegen de wand te bevestigen binnen de hoogte van het afwerkprofiel, bij voorkeur nabij de onderzijde daarvan, waartegen het 10 afwerkprofiel middels een klemmend kan worden verbonden opdat de klemstrip aan zijn onderste langsrand goed aansluit op de wand. In toegepaste vorm is insteekpoot 23 tussen de uiteinden 17, 18 van de poten 15, 16 van basisprofiel 14 in de richting van pijl 28 gestoken in klemgleuf 19 totdat flens 24, die 20 elastisch vervormbaar is, aansluit op muur 3.
