Abstract

The break-in prevention profile assembly is for a panel hingeably fitted in a frame and has a first profile (10) for fixture to the frame and a second profile (20) for fixture to the panel. In the fitted state, the profile assembly can be closed together to cover a gap between the paneel and the frame. Both profiles have a fixture part (11,21) for fixing the profile and a protection part (12,22,23) for covering the gap. The profiles are so matched that in the fitted state the protection part of the first profile completely lies outside a covering path, which on hingeing of the panel, is described by the protection part (22,23) of the second profile (20).

De profielen zijn daarbij zodanig gepositioneerd dat bij het sluiten van de deur beide 15 profielen ineen sluiten om zo een kier tussen de deur en de stijl van het deurkozijn af te dekken. Het gaat hierbij in beide gevallen om een eerste profiel 10 voor montage aan de deurstijl en een tweede profiel 20 voor montage aan de deur. De profielen 10, 20 van dit voorbeeld zijn aan hun basis circa 1,5 respectievelijk 1,9 cm breed en steken circa 1,6 cm uit. Claims

A burglar-resistant profile assembly for a panel which is hingedly mounted around a hinge axis in a frame, comprising a first profile for fixing to the frame and a second profile for fixing to the panel, the profile assembly being able to assemble in mounted condition to be closed for covering a crack between the panel and the frame, characterized in that both profiles comprise a fastening part for fastening the profile, that both profiles comprise a security part extending at an angle to the fastening part to cover the crack and that in the mounted state the security part of the first profile lies entirely outside an imaginary path which, when the panel is pivoted around the pivot axis, is described by the security part of the second profile.
