Abstract

Injection moulding system for hollow articles has a mould with first and second mould halves (2,4) carrying respectively mould cavities (3) and mould cores (5). During the mould open part of the operating cycle one mould half (4) carries the articles moulded during the mould closed part of the moulding cycle, and that mould half has two sets of cores (5,5'), or cavities, which cooperate alternately on the mould closed part of the cycle with the cavities (3), or cores, of the other mould half and with the receiving device (20) of a robot which removes the moulded article from the cores, or cavities. Apparatus and method are claimed.
