Abstract

The cork screw housing (1) encloses the top of the bottle to be opened in a centralised manner. A drive mechanism ensures that a central positioned spiralled rod (3) rotates correctly. A retraction device (4) enables vertical retraction of the spiralled rod (3). The drive mechanism (2) includes a tubular part (5) with an opening (6) to observe cork withdrawal movement.
