Abstract
A binder for printing ink comprises a polyethylene glycol (hereinafter, referred to as PEG)-containing polyurethane resin, and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, wherein the PEG-containing polyurethane resin is a resin obtained by reacting at least (A) a polyester polyol having a number average molecular weight of 1000 to 6000, (B) PEG, a (C) diisocyanate compound, and (D) a chain extender; and a content rate of the (B) PEG is within the range of I to 40 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the PEG-containing polyurethane resin.
