Abstract
To properly wash a heat exchanger of an air conditioner (100) in washing operation. Thus, the air conditioner (100) includes a refrigeration cycle (RC) having a compressor (32) configured to compress refrigerant and an indoor heat exchanger (64), a control device (20) configured to control the refrigeration cycle (RC) such that the washing operation for washing a surface of the indoor heat exchanger (64) is executed, and an indoor fan (66). The control device (20) has the function (S130, S132, S134) of executing, when the washing operation is executed, the freezing control of causing the indoor heat exchanger (64) to function as an evaporator and bringing a surface temperature of the indoor heat exchanger (64) to a temperature below zero, and the function (S130, S132, S134) of driving, during execution of the freezing control, the indoor fan (66) in a predetermined period shorter than a freezing control execution period and bringing the indoor fan (66) into a stop state in other periods than the predetermined period.
